- Rule: If you sell the vehicle and hand the plates over to the new owner, you must release your priority to the configuration. The new owner then applies to have the plates issued to them.
- Steps:
- Sell the vehicle with the plates on it.
- Release your priority as MVD directs.
- The buyer applies to MVD for the plates.
